About 3DPEA

What?

3DPEA is an online community tailored for 3D designers and creators. As an independent platform, it hosts a vast array of free 3D tools and a diverse collection of free 3D models. For 3D designers, the platform offers the opportunity to publish and share interactive 3D models using our powerful 3D editor. Showcase your creations effortlessly by embedding them anywhere online with our intuitive 3D viewer. If you're looking to bring your designs to life through 3D printing, CNC machining, or laser cutting, our platform provides access to numerous downloadable 3D models. Additionally, our extensive 3D model database serves as a wellspring of inspiration for your projects. Moreover, users can benefit from our wide range of free 3D tools, including an image-to-3D converter, 3D converter, 3D viewer, GCode simulator, and DICOM viewer, designed to streamline and enhance your 3D workflow.

Why?

Creating 3D models, rendering designs, and processing meshes using software can be incredibly complex, a skill mastered by only a select few. This complexity often poses a significant challenge for enthusiasts of 3D printing and manufacturing. Therefore, we require a community platform where experts in intricate 3D software can exhibit, share, or even sell their creations, showcasing their talents. Additionally, we need a variety of user-friendly tools to streamline the workflow for individuals who may not be well-versed in traditional desktop 3D software.

Who?

We are a small team of 3 indie hackers:

We are enthusiastic about 3D technology and optimistic about the potential of 3D printing technology. We are more passionate about technologies that connect with the real world, using virtual technology to create a better physical world, rather than creating a metaverse using 3D technology.
